Larry Thomas Born in Newark, NJ to a hard working family, Larry's determination and effort earned him a BS in Accounting at Lehigh University in 1983. His curiosity, creativity and energy would soon lead him to put down the spreadsheets and learn more about what it takes to generate those numbers in neat little boxes, especially those on the top line. Larry worked as a CPA in NYC before striking out on his own as an entrepreneur, where he realized that his skills and interests were well suited for a career in communications. In 1995 he embraced the Internet and developed expertise, relationships and businesses that built his reputation as a straight-forward, hard-charging leader. For 10 years, he held progressively senior management positions overseeing critical business ventures for PR Newswire, a leading public and investor relations services company. In 2002, Larry introduced a concept, worked on a business plan then launched, built and ran a start up video communications business for PR Newswire. Today, MultiVu is one of the largest video production companies in the PR, IR and Corporate Communications services industry. Most recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Medialink Worldwide, a NASDAQ company in the video industry. In 2009, Larry was part of the leadership team that executed an exit strategy when they sold the business to a VC-backed competitor who took the company private after a shareholder vote and rebranded the combined entity.In 2010, Larry created Latergy LLC, where he works with companies of all sizes – from start-ups to large corporations - to help them achieve their goals. He lives in NJ with his lovely wife, Sherry Lynn, and their plethora of pups.
